Forgotten Money, What We Do
Money often goes forgotten in the legal world. Our process begins by analyzing every possible record in Indiana’s legal system to locate money who’s rightful owner may have simply forgot about, was never informed of, or who may have passed before or after the money became claimable.
How We Help
After having identified unclaimed funds in Indiana courts, a lengthy process of searching for any possible contact information of the rightful claimants or heirs begins. Once in contact, our company contracts with the claimant in order to retrieve these funds for them. The claimant, having only to sign a few papers, can simply sit back and wait for the money to be delivered to them while we work in the courts to fight for your claim.
It Can Get Messy
Money that goes unclaimed does not always have just one claimant. Sometimes, there are multiple possible claimants. It is advised that, if you wish to receive the entirety of the funds (often ranging in $10-20,000), you should refrain from speaking about the claim or claim process until you have received the funds. If there are multiple claimants, the funds get split into equal shares between them.
It’s a Scary and Annoying World
Understandably, if somebody were to receive a letter in the mail saying, “you are owed a bunch of money, just do xyz to get it,” they would toss it in the trash and not think twice. Every day we receive scam phone calls from robo-services around the world, it is no less a prevalence with physical mail or social media messages. Nowadays, you cannot even search for something on the internet without first seeing tens to hundreds of AI generated or malicious websites whose only purpose is for you to click on and waste time while they make money off of 10+ advertisements on just the first page. Don’t even get us started on the endless and intrusive pop-ups!
